Zalewski Kitchen/Dining Room - Residential

We love to problem solve & this kitchen was definitely a layout challenge. The original plan had a hallway separating the kitchen from the powder room with lots of wall real estate taken up by doors. The clients’ goal was to open the space to the family room, but that would only leave us one unobstructed wall for full height cabinetry and appliances. Ultimately we decided to open up the wall on either side of the range & make it a focal point. Not only does it make a statement but allows for visibility into the family room. Win win!
